Keyless Concept Test

Business Question

It’s a concept test about implement of keyless technology on cars/real estates. Clients would like to understand how is the feedback of the 10 new concepts and what are the benefits participants are seeing in these scenarios. They also need to predict is there any conflicts between the concepts and local conditions, to improve the concepts afterwards.

Approach

6 IDI sessions were conducted in Shanghai.

During the sessions, participants evaluated 10 concepts one by one. Concepts were related with different themes, so they were asked to put them into the scenarios and to feedback their perceptions including the advantage and disadvantage of each concepts.

Furthermore, the most appealing concepts were presented at the end of the interview, as well as the least, and the reasons were collected.

Outcome

Keyless concepts have been well received by Chinese car owners in general. They have perceived the sense of high technology and they have expressed appreciation for the benefits from the techniques presented in the concepts. Overall, they consider the concepts are practical and useful.
