The client was going to launch a new online game treatment of amblyopia which could be used on the digital platforms like phone, pad, or PC. The study comprised an exploratory test which was to investigate the current treatment approaches that the physicians had applied and the patients’ attitude towards them. Furthermore, the concepts of new digital treatment were evaluated as well.

Business Question
Approach
We interviewed 10 physicians and 20 patients from 4 y.o. to 60 y.o.. Among the patient's group, we divided them into the minors & teenagers’ and adults' group.
Participants all need to be familiar with digital platform usage, like phone, pad, PC and so on.
Outcome
Both physicians and patients accept and like the idea to treat the amblyopia by playing a video game.
The preferred game length and interaction method have been collected as well as the respective expectations to the digital game treatment from physicians and patients.
The needs from physicians for diagnosis and producing the descriptions via the digital platform have been reported in detail.
